September 24, 2025

Barranquilla, September 2025. –The Caribbean Industrial Development Fair (FICA 2025) has established itself as the main showcase for business and innovation for industry in the region. This year, we expect to welcome more than 3,000 professional visitors from the Caribbean and surrounding cities, a highly profiled audience with decision-making power and influence who come to FICA in search of new suppliers and business opportunities.

FICA, organized by Corferias and held in Barranquilla, will feature a trade show bringing together more than 110 exhibitors from sectors such as metalworking, machinery and equipment, hardware and industrial refrigeration, energy, and alternative services, who will present the latest in technology and innovation in each category.

In the academic framework, the fair will feature a central agenda of eight talks led by strategic partners such as Acoplásticos, Acosol, SENA, El Heraldo, Caribe Connect, the Government of Atlántico, and Top Management, addressing topics of great impact for the industry, including: the regulation of single-use plastics, sustainability, applied artificial intelligence, and foreign trade in the Colombian industry.

In addition, 14 technical talks will be given by exhibitors in the Academic Hall, focusing on specific solutions applied to the different participating sectors.

The Business Roundtable, which will feature around 40 national buyers, will be one of the main venues for generating effective business opportunities and boosting the region's industrial sector.

FICA will also present an Innovation Zone in partnership with CEIPA University, highlighting the six most disruptive brands of this fourth edition, with proposals in artificial intelligence applied to the weighing industry, circular economy in waste management, high-resistance fans for energy, among other cutting-edge advances.

With this robust agenda of activities, FICA 2025 confirms its role as a strategic space for strengthening industry in the Caribbean and in the country.

For project manager Lorena Núñez, “FICA is much more than a fair: it is a meeting point for generating business, sharing knowledge, and strengthening the competitiveness of the Colombian Caribbean.”

The Caribbean Industrial Development Fair (FICA), which will take place from September 24 to 26, 2025, at the Caribbean Events Center, is the main venue for technological and commercial exchange for Colombia's productive industries. It brings together business leaders, academic institutions, trade associations, and technical professionals to discuss innovation, business opportunities, and sustainability.
