CORFERIAS CARIBE
Puerta de Oro, Centro de Eventos del Caribe is the most modern business tourism complex for trade fairs, events and conventions, serving Colombia and the Caribbean basin.
As a professional organizer of trade fairs and events, Corferias has planned a portfolio of about 27 trade fairs, which will be consolidated in the first phase. This project recognizes the Atlantic Coast as the new pole of development and economic promise of Colombia and builds great expectations with the entry into force of free trade agreements with countries and regions such as: the United States, Canada, Mexico, the European Union. This places us in competition with the world.
With these characteristics, Corferias will organize different events aimed at the competitive business development and the social, cultural and tourist promotion of the region. Corferias· involvement in Puerta de Oro, Centro de Eventos del Caribe, is not only to manage and develop trade fairs, conferences, and events. It is also to contribute to the national business community·s efforts to drive economic and social growth in the Caribbean region and the Barranquilla area.
With 70 years of experience, Corferias has played a fundamental role in the promotion of economic, industrial and cultural development in the Andean region, Central America and the Caribbean. Together with the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, its main shareholder, Corferias has been a key agent in the creation of cooperative links between small, medium and large entrepreneurs and businessmen. Through the generation of fairs, events and conventions, it promotes the exchange of knowledge, business, entertainment and great experiences for visitors and exhibitors.
Corferias· ability to organize and produce world-class events has positioned Bogota as a hub for business activity at the regional and international levels, thus promoting Colombia·s industrial and commercial development.
